Andrés Galaviz

Excerpted from the 2012 Spring/Summer Newsletter - Editor

“We greet you in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ who
has been so very good to us. He has blessed us more abundantly than
we deserve or can even ask for. Thank you for your prayers on our
behalf personally as well as for the ministry that the Lord has given
us here in Mexico. We know He has put us here to be light in the
midst of darkness and in spite of any danger or insecurity that certain
groups present our God has kept us and given us peace in our hearts
to continue preaching the Gospel.”

Prayer points:
- That God will permit those who hear the Word to be freed from the
power and condemnation of sin.
- Continuing opportunities to pray with the officials of the city of
Cuauhtémoc.
- Deliverance of the cities and towns from the control of the drug
cartels and the violence and fear associated with the drug wars.

Andrés Galaviz Family

Saved: In 1974 at 18 years of age in an independent Baptist church. Began ministry in a southern Baptist church, later introduced to the doctrines of grace.
Wife: Rhonda, American born, medical training, speaks fluent Spanish. Works in the translation part of the ministry.
Children: Lael, Dámaris
Background: Although not born in Chihuahua, Andrés has a burden for these people, especially those in the mountains.

  • Frustrated with social programs that have no social value. Medical services only compliment ministry.
  • Wants to reach Mexico through individual outreach and conferences bringing together people from at least five major cities.
  • “It’s Biblical & better if two go together,” expresses Andrés’ desire for a co-laborer.
  • Best for supporters to see the people and ministry firsthand.
  • Agua Caliente is ministry home base & pass for traffic to other interior villages.
  • The church on the front of the brochure is very visible from the road and is a monument to God’s faithfulness.
